8 wk mindfulness group: august & september
This is an 8wk offering to help you focus on your mindfulness meditation practice. Beginners and more experienced meditators welcome! We’ll spend 45-50minutes in practice each week as a group and then spend the remainder of our time together checking in about your practice… how is it going? are you practicing between sessions at home? what is working? what isn’t working? what impact is your mindfulness practice having on your every day life- are you calmer, more balanced, more emotionally regulated, more grounded, clearer thinking, less frazzled?
Monday Mornings from 9-10:15am starting August 11th and running through September 29th. *The week of Labor Day we’ll meet on Wednesday (Sept. 3rd) from 9-10:15 instead of Monday.
You can participate in person @ Creekside Counseling & Wellness, 307 Ebenezer Road, 37923. Room is on the top floor. Or, you can participate on-line via Zoom. (There will be one link for all the Mondays and a separate link for the special Labor Day Week offering on Wednesday.)
Creekside Counseling and Wellness specializes in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). As part of this wellness offering at Creekside, you'll have the option to integrate the use of SLOW bilateral stimulation using tappers you can purchase or simply using your hands. (You can always choose not to add bilateral stimulation as well.)
$180 for the 8wk offering.
Class is limited to 12 people.
***A 6wk mindfulness group will follow this 8wk offering starting October 13 - November 17th. Same time, same offering with the cost of $150. Also offered in-person or on-line.
